The Education and Information Centre at Barnet offers a lecture theatre which comfortably seats seventy people, and several teaching rooms. The centre can also provide excellent audiovisual facilities. We look forward to providing GDPs and the practice team with opportunities to continuously update and improve their knowledge and learning. The postgraduate centre is situated within the grounds of Chase Farm Hospital. The centre is within the grounds of the building on the right as you enter the hospital from the Ridgeway entrance. We provide excellent training facilities for dentists featuring a purpose built skills centre with 12 workstations designed for hands-on dentistry including full phantom head and equipment.
How to find us
By bus: Routes W8 and W9 from Enfield Town stop at the centre door and 313 from Chingford to Potters Bar.
By rail: Nearest station – Gordon Hill BR on mainline service Moorgate to Hertford North. Alternatively the train may be joined at Finsbury Park underground station on the Piccadilly and Victoria lines. The hospital is 10 minutes walk away or a W8 bus will take you to the door (second stop inside the hospital grounds). Another option would be from Liverpool Street Station to Enfield Town and then taking a W8 or W9 bus to the door.
By road: Situated on A1005, 5 miles south of junction 24, M25 and sign posted “Enfield Town”. Easy access is also possible from A10 through Enfield Town via Southbury Road, Cecil Road, Church Street and Windmill Hill into The Ridgeway. Car parking is available in the hospital multi-storey at £4.00 per day, or in the Pay & Display car parks throughout the hospital grounds.

UCL Eastman CPD offers challenging and innovative courses for dental professionals from qualification to retirement. Dedicated facilities include seminar rooms, clinical skills laboratories and access to excellent clinics.
E-learning to support core CPD requirements for all the dental team and novel pod-courses for DCPs are also available.
Course fees (including lunch and refreshments) are £30 for lecture-based courses and £60 for hands-on courses. The London Deanery’s cancellation policy applies.
How to find us
UCL Eastman CPD is approximately ten minutes walk from Russell Square (via Piccadilly line), King’s Cross (Northern, Piccadilly, Circle, Metropolitan and Victoria lines) and Chancery Lane (Central line) underground stations.
Bus numbers 17, 45 and 46 stop immediately outside the building and can be boarded at either the King’s Cross or Chancery Lane end of Gray’s Inn Road. Bus numbers 19 and 38 stop at the corner of Clerkenwell Road and Gray’s Inn Road. From Waterloo use bus numbers 243 or 241 to Grays Inn Road.
