Overview

London Deanery has established an initiative aimed at recognising the involvement of London’s Foundation Doctors in leadership projects. Leadership projects that wish to be included within this initiative can apply for London Deanery accreditation. Foundation Doctors who complete an accredited Excellence in Leadership project will be awarded a London Deanery Excellence in Leadership commendation to add to their portfolio.

Project Proposals - How to Apply

To apply to for project accreditation, simply complete an application form (available in the downloads section) and send it to the email or postal address provided. Applicants will be expected to provide a one-page summary of the project with reference to the Medical Leadership Competency Framework. They will also be asked to nominate a project lead. Proposed projects will be reviewed by the Postgraduate Dean for Foundation and the Chair of the Foundation Programme Quality Management Committee.
