Certification of Completion of Training (CCT)

At the end of your training, the ePortfolio allows you to electronically start your application for CCT.  Once your final ARCP form has been signed off as Satisfactory by the ARCP Panel Chair and yourself, you will then be able to click the ‘Apply for CCT’ button within your ePortfolio.

The RCGP will not be able to process certification unless all these steps have been undertaken.

You will also be required to apply to the GMC using their online application process.

Once the RCGP have processed the full application and made their recommendation the GMC will then be in a position to issue the trainee with the licence to work as a specialist within general practice.

Certificate for confirming Eligibility for GP Registration (CEGPR)

If you have not followed a traditional training programme, perhaps having done posts overseas or that are not approved for GP training, you may need to apply directly to the GMC via the CEGPR route (formerly Article 11 or Equivalent Experience).
