Elisabeth Paice Awards For Educational Excellence 2011 – Winners Announced

On Thursday 8 December we hosted the presentation of the second Elisabeth Paice Awards for Educational Excellence. The prizes were presented to winners by Professor Paice herself, at a celebratory evening at De Vere Holborn Bars attended by approximately 100 people.
The aim of the awards is to identify and reward those teams, in London trusts, making an outstanding commitment and contribution to postgraduate medical and dental education. In 2011 two new additional Awards were given in the categories of Best Clinical Leadership Development Initiative and Best Interprofessional Education Initiative. Winners received a £500 educational grant, a glassware trophy and a certificate. ‘Highly Commended' entries also received a certificate.
