Inter-Deanery Transfers: timeline for November 2010 transfer window

The deadline for requests for all Inter-Deanery Transfers (IDTs) is 17:00 GMT+1 on Friday 20 August 2010. 

An IDT panel will meet by 10 September 2010 to consider all requests from trainees who wish to transfer out of training programmes managed by the London Deanery.  Trainees will be informed by 17 September 2010 whether their requests are supported by the IDT panel and the documentation will be forwarded to the receiving Deanery for their consideration. 

The deadline for receipt of appeals from trainees whose requests are not supported by the London Deanery IDT Panel is 1 October 2010.  The documentation of trainees who are successful in their appeals will be forwarded to the receiving Deanery in time for consideration by the receiving Deanery’s IDT panel.

Most UK Deaneries will consider requests for transfers into their training programmes between 18 and 22 October 2010.  Trainees will be informed of the outcome of their requests by 29 October 2010.

London Deanery trainees who would like to request a transfer to another deanery are asked to submit their completed documentation as early as possible.  Any requests received after the 20 August 2010 deadline will not be considered until the March 2011 transfer window.
