STeLI to host international simulation summit
03 Aug 2010
Our Simulation and Technology-enhanced Learning Initiative (STeLI) will be hosting the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH)'s ‘International Simulation Leadership Summit' in London on 4, 5 and 6 August. The summit will bring together leaders in healthcare simulation from across the globe who share the desire to improve performance and reduce errors in patient care using all types of simulation.
Today London's simulation trainers will be treated to a Masterclass led by members of the SSH and other experts. This STeLI Masterclass, titled 'Promoting Advocacy and Patient Centredness', will feature our experts’ perspectives on ‘hearing the person’, ‘listening to the person’ and ‘simulating the person’. This is a timely and important event that reflects the new Government’s priority to centre healthcare around patients, as outlined in the White Paper: Liberating the NHS.
