Validation of Ophthalmology trainee details

London Deanery contacted all Ophthalmology trainees today asking them to validate the information we hold.  This is part of our responsibility under the Data Protection Act, and all London Deanery trainees are required to periodically validate their information. 

In order to do this, trainees will need to:

• Log-in to Synapse http://www.synapse.nhs.uk/ 
• Keep a portfolio to hand to answer some of the questions
• On the dashboard, click in the top right hand corner ‘data validation' to proceed 
• Complete the exercise by 8am on Monday 15 March. This should take about 15 minutes.

Trainees will be given the opportunity to update this information regularly and to discuss in more detail at RITA/ARCP reviews.
