Under which system are you training?

The following will give you further information on who is training in each system:

SpR System – all trainees who started on the Clinical Oncology Training Programme on or before 31 July 2007 are training on the SpR system under the terms set out by ‘The Orange Book’. Trainees on this system will undertake a Record of In-Training Assessment (RITA)

StR System – all trainees who started on the Clinical Oncology Training Programme on or after 1 August 2007 are training on the StR system under the terms set out by the Gold Guide. The 2010 Edition of the Gold Guide consolidates all earlier versions and applies to all trainees who started in a specialty training programme on or after 1 August 2011. Trainees on this system will undertake an Annual Review of Competence Progression (ARCP).
