Out of programme time
Trainees may, subject to the approval of the School, spend some time out of their training programme. This may be in a position recognised for training purposes (OOPT) or for experience (OOPE) or research (OOPR) or on a career break (OOPC). These opportunities are explained in detail in the Gold Guide for newer trainees, otherwise please refer to the Orange Book.
