Training Programme Directors

Training program directors (TPD)s are responsible to for overseeing training and supporting trainees in paediatrics.

One TPD covers several hospitals and usually visits all trainees in that area once a year. 

We are committed to supporting our trainees and are the only deanery in the country that provides funding to support consultants working as TPDs. All TPDs have protected time within there job description to carry out their role.
