Applicant Readiness

In order to ensure the smooth running of the process for all applicants, there are several points that we would like applicants to be aware of:

1. Please ensure that you start now to make the necessary arrangements so that you are available to:

• Complete your application form(s) during the indicated week(s)
• Attend an interview during the indicated week(s). Where you have clashing interviews it is up to you to decide which one to attend and to inform the appropriate parties.
• Respond to any offer made, within 48 hours, during the indicated week(s). Due to high volumes London will not be extending this deadline.

2. To apply for a post you must:

• Meet the immigration eligibility requirements
• Have full or provisional GMC registration
• Have evidence of the required competences for the level to which you are applying

3. To participate in the recruitment process, it is essential that you provide an email address:

• At which emails from any address ending @londondeanery.ac.uk are not filtered out by junk or spam filters. Please be aware that we have previously experienced problems contacting Hotmail addresses
• That you will have access to check at least once every 24 hours

4. To maximise the number of applicants to whom offers can be made, and the fill rate for posts, please:

• Respond to offers as quickly as possible (as stated above this is within a maximum of 48 hours)
• Comply with national guidance with respect to withdrawing from all other applications as soon as an offer is accepted
